Nothing else is required. SivaTools is a native Revit add-in: it does not need pyRevit, Python, or any other runtime.
02
Install
- Close Revit. The installer stops and tells you if Revit is still running, because a loaded add-in file cannot be replaced.
- Extract the ZIP into a folder — all of it. Opening the archive in Windows' built-in preview is not enough; the files have to be on disk before anything can run.
- Double-click
INSTALL.bat. No administrator prompt appears: the add-in installs for your Windows account only, and the installer speaks Turkish, English or Spanish, following your Windows display language. - It detects the Revit versions on the machine and installs only for those. If it finds none, it stops instead of installing something unusable.
- Open Revit. A Siva tab appears in the ribbon. You never copy a file by hand.

Why a ZIP, and not a one-click installer
This page used to offer a .exe installer. Windows Defender started quarantining it as Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml. That name is Defender's machine-learning bucket for a newly published executable with no code-signing certificate behind it — it describes our certificate, not anything found inside the file.
We are not going to ask you to add an exclusion or turn protection off. Instead we measured which layer set it off: the add-in's own files, and this ZIP containing them, both pass a Windows Defender scan cleanly. Only the installer's executable wrapper was flagged. So the wrapper is gone and the files ship directly.
The one-click installer returns once our Authenticode code-signing certificate is in place. Until then the SHA-256 checksum above lets you verify the exact bytes you received:
certutil -hashfile SivaTools-4.5.1.zip SHA256
If the value it prints differs from the one on this page, do not run it — and please tell us.

Activate your license
The installer is complete but locked. A key unlocks it, and both plans start with a 3-day free trial.
Start Free Trial Read the licensing terms
- Complete checkout. The key arrives by email from Lemon Squeezy, our payment and licensing provider.
- In Revit, open Siva → License, paste the key, and choose Activate. The first activation needs an internet connection.
- One key activates up to two devices. Moving to a new computer: choose Remove this device on the old one first, then activate the new one with the same key.
- After a successful activation, SivaTools keeps working for up to seven days without an internet connection.
Your model, project name, and personal data are never sent anywhere. The Privacy Notice lists exactly what leaves your computer.
05
Updating and removing
To update, close Revit and run INSTALL.bat from the newer package; it replaces the previous version in place. Your license stays activated and your settings are kept.
To remove it, run UNINSTALL.bat from the same folder. Your license and settings are kept, so a later reinstall does not ask for the key again.
Coming from the old .exe installer? Uninstall it first — Settings → Apps → Installed apps → SivaTools → Uninstall — and keep your settings when it asks. Running both at once would load the add-in twice and put two Siva tabs in the ribbon, so INSTALL.bat checks for it and stops rather than making that mess. Your license survives the uninstall.

Email yalpoarchitects@sivatools.app (fallback: yalpoarchitects@gmail.com). Include your Revit version and, for a technical problem, the SivaTools log file — the report window shows its path on the last line.

What happens after the first launch
Installing is the short part. The first run is where a model turns out to be ready or not, so the walkthrough is on its own page.
